Out of the Darkness Community Walk presented by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
September 24 @ 12:45 pm - 10:00 pm
Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a rental event organized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – South Dakota Chapter
Event Description: The Out of the Darkness Community Walks, held in hundreds of communities across the country, are the core of the Out of the Darkness movement, which began in 2004. These events give people the courage to open up about their own connections to the cause, and a platform to create a culture that’s smarter about mental health. Friends, family members, neighbors and coworkers walk side-by-side, supporting each other and in memory of those we’ve lost.
About the Walk: A gorgeous walk that will take you through Falls Parks for our Rock and Feather Ceremony. The Walk will lead you back to the Levitt Shell where we will have food trucks and yard games from our partner organizations, along with love music to shine light and hope throughout the afternoon and evening.
