Generation POUND
Generation POUND is an event organized by Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation. Generation POUND® is a youth-oriented program that fuses movement and music to improve focus, coordination, physical fitness, and teamwork skills. By combining exercise and interactive activities, students will learn new ways to explore movement, embrace their creativity, and ROCK OUT—ultimately building strength, confidence, and self-awareness. The Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra (SJMO) was founded in 1990 with an appropriation from Congress in recognition of the importance of jazz in American culture and its status as a national treasure.
