Dr. Brian Hanegan is the Director of Jazz Studies and Associate Professor of Music at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD. He directs the Northlanders Jazz Ensemble and jazz combos, supervises the Jazz on the Upper Great Plains Festival, teaches studio saxophone, jazz improvisation, and the history of jazz, blues, and rock.
