P Skunk

Opening Act: Saturday, July 1

P Skunk
Midwest rock stalwarts P Skunk have been making noise for over twenty years. Veterans of the Sioux Falls music scene will remember appearances at the now legendary Pomp Room, the historic Good Tour residency at Phil’s Pub, or regular gigs at 7th Street Entry and The Turf Club in the Twin Cities. With hints of Bob Dylan, early Pink Floyd and The Velvet Underground, P Skunk was dubbed “wildly adventurous” by Jim Walsh of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Carrying the torch of avant-garde rock while tripping amongst pop music along the way, guitarist Brian Stemwedel provides a blues ripping response to Erik Ritter’s beat poet lyrics, and Daryn Bertelson’s innovative back beat. The trio will perform songs from P Skunk’s extensive back catalog (streaming everywhere) in addition to tunes from their upcoming vinyl release, “Shadows and Light: A soundtrack to the Post Virus Renaissance.” erikritter.com/p-skunk-music
