Who manages the venue?
Friends of Levitt Shell Sioux Falls, Inc. (“Levitt at the Falls”) is a local non-profit organization that operates and manages the Levitt Shell property owned by the City of Sioux Falls. Levitt at the Falls has priority usage of the venue each summer to offer 50 free concerts to the Sioux Falls community.
Can Levitt help produce our event?
Yes – Levitt works with a list of preferred vendors to provide state of the art production. Our team will work with you to design a package that suits your needs and the size of your audience. Levitt can also provide you with a list of licensed food and beverage vendors we typically work with that will ensure a successful event.
Who can rent the venue?
The Levitt Shell is available for rent by non-profit and for-profit organizations in our community to produce public events that are free of charge, welcoming, and accessible for everyone in our community. The Levitt Shell is currently not available for private or corporate events that seek to limit attendance by the public. Levitt at the Falls maintains the right to withhold the use of the venue from any individual or organization who seek to limit the public and/or may represent a conflict with the mission of Levitt at the Falls.
Can Levitt help promote our event?
Yes – Levitt will promote your event on our website calendar. Event planners may not use the Levitt logo or branding to promote their event. Please refer to our “Brand Guidelines for Rentals” for best marketing practices.
How much does venue rental cost?
Please contact Jake Paron at email@example.com for pricing information. The base venue rental rate is for a four (4) hour window of time (from arrival to departure) at the venue and ONLY includes the use of the stage and the lawn. Additional time at the venue will be prorated on an hourly basis.
What other expenses can we expect?
Event planners are responsible for securing required permits from the City of Sioux Falls which could include, but are not limited to: sound, alcohol, food trucks, merchandise, and third-party vendors. A pricing sheet is included in this application to help determine costs.
What is the venue capacity?
The Levitt venue can hold up to 4,000 people. Depending on the expected size of your event, pricing may vary for certain expenses such as security, production, trash, and other related items.
What insurance is required for our event?
All events require insurance coverage in the following amounts and must include the following entities:
$1 Million per occurrence, $2 Million general aggregate
$1 Million alcohol liability insurance (if applicable)
